Performed with a custom elastic net apparatus, it pulls you into the physical reality of emotional entanglement — the things we cling to, the things that hold us, and the cost of trying to break free. Through original electronic score and an improvised dialogue with live musicians, Alara moves between athletic power and raw vulnerability, to construct a piece that feels less like watching and more like remembering something true about yourself.
